About

23 year old who had battled anorexia and exercise addiction for over 2 years.  I have been in recovery for 3 years now, and it is so worth it!

I have two amazing sisters, who are also my best friends, mom, and dad, who all are so supportive and help me through all of my battles.  My boyfriend and friends are my rocks as well.  This is my personal road to recovery to overcome my personal demon, Eda.

  1. The support system is incredibly vital, so you are definitely in great hands. It becomes difficult when you have to travel along this journey of transformation alone, but in your situation, the support system is present. That is a beautiful thing indeed. I genuinely wish you all the best on your road to recovery.

  2. I am a mother of a 19 yr old beautiful college girl who I think has an ED . Her weight is dropping and her gauntness is starting to shows. Her dad doesn’t believe she has it and thinks he can fix it He will say such things as let me talk with her . He has a controlling nature .

My husband and I thought we were doing the right thing to send her to a Catholic College that all her sibling went to . She gained the normal freshmen 15 and got some negative comments. She had always been a slender tall girl . By Christmas of her 1st year of college she had lost the weight .She was exercising and eating healthily. In two months she had a boyfriend and by summer her eating became disordered. From then on she continues to eat very little and exercise vigorously. She refuses to discuss her eating with me even though I tell her she is risking her health and life . What can I do to help her I am so worried about her .
